PERSECUTION OF GREEKS.

ATHENS, APRIL 26.
Despite the assurances given by the Grand Vizier, the persecution of Greeks in Thrace and Smyrna continues. After the violent anti-Greek agitation which the Turkish Government has hirtherto permitted, if not encouraged, it will not be surprising if some little difficulty is found in re-establishing a normal situation. The entire local Press is behind the Government in its determination to protect the interests of co-religionists.
