PERSECUTION OF GREEKS
TURCO-GERMAN PLAN.
ATHENS, July 14.
The latest advices from Constantinople state that the persecution of the Greeks is extending to the shores of the Sea of Marmora and the islands, where upwards of 30,000 Greeks have been compelled to abandon their belongings, and have been dispersed among purely Mussulman villages in the interior. The Turco-German plan is obviously the Turkish nationalisation of Greek Ottomans. Mussulman villages in other districts have been forcibly cleared of Greeks. The prisons are teeming with those accused of revictualling the Allies' submarines.--Press Association.
