Relief Efforts in Response to the Genocide
Featured below is a selection of photographs depicting the relief efforts displayed by various aid organizations, including the Near East Relief, in response to the Ottoman extermination of Greeks. The Relief Committee for Greeks of Asia Minor, the Near East Relief, the American Women's Hospitals, American Friends of Greece, the All-British Appeal (the Imperial War Relief Fund, the Save the Children Fund and the Friends' Relief Committee) and the Red Cross were among the many organizations that provided much-needed humanitarian aid to Greek Genocide survivors and Ottoman Greek refugees.
